Porch Moving Group Best Price Guarantee

HireAHelper, MovingPlace, Simple Moving Labor, and MovingStaffers (collectively, “Porch Moving Group” or “PMG”) provide the following Best Price Guarantee to registered customers (“Customer” or “you”) who use a PMG platform to book home-related products and moving services (the “Moving Services”) performed by third-party providers (“Moving Service Providers” or “MSPs”).

We’re committed to helping you find trusted, professional Moving Service Providers at the best possible price. If you find the same MSP, offering the same service on the same date(s) at a lower price elsewhere, we’ll match that price—subject to the following terms and conditions.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for our Best Price Guarantee:

  • The mover must be the same Moving Service Provider booked on a PMG platform.
  • The Moving Services must match exactly:
    • Same move date(s).
    • Same move size (e.g., 1-bedroom apartment, 3-bedroom home, etc.).
    • Same service type (e.g., full-service, labor-only, etc.).
    • Same number of movers and truck size (if applicable).
    • Same distance (local or long-distance, in miles/kilometers) (if applicable).
  • The lower price must:
    • Be publicly available or presented in a written quote.
    • Be submitted at least twenty-four (24) hours before your move begins.

How to Request a Price Match

To request a price match, you must submit a written request to [email protected] at least twenty-four (24) hours before your move begins and include:

  • Your name, move date(s), origin and destination addresses, and booking confirmation number.
  • Your contact information.
  • A copy of the publicly available or written quote for the same mover, same service, and same date(s) (PDF or screenshot is acceptable).

We will review and verify the request within 10 (ten) business days and, if approved, issue a refund for the difference.

Exclusions and Limitations

Our Best Price Guarantee does not apply to:

  • Moving Services that differ in scope or terms (e.g., different MSP, different dates, fewer movers, etc.).
  • Promotional, temporary, or discounted pricing (e.g., coupons, flash sales, one-day discounts, etc.).
  • Verbal or handwritten quotes.

The Best Price Guarantee is subject to the following cap:

  • A maximum of seventy-five U.S. dollars ($75.00); or
  • Ten percent (10%) of the total cost of your Moving Services booked through a PMG platform, whichever amount is lower.

Only one (1) price match request per Moving Service may be submitted and processed. Additional requests for the same booking will not be accepted.

Our Best Price Guarantee is intended to ensure fair and transparent pricing. All decisions regarding the guarantee are at the sole discretion of Porch Moving Group and we reserve the right to reject any request that does not meet the conditions of the Best Price Guarantee or cannot be independently verified. Porch Moving Group further reserves the right to decline any request that appears to be fraudulent, incomplete, or inconsistent with these terms and conditions.

Right to Modify or Terminate

Porch Moving Group reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Best Price Guarantee, in whole or in part, at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Claims submitted prior to any change will be reviewed in accordance with the terms in effect at the time the claim was received.
